How it works…
Finding a therapist for you or a family member can be an overwhelming process. How do I find the right person? Where do we begin? Will it be a good match? There are so many questions. This is how it works within my practice:
Contact me via the Contact Me button and I’ll reply with an email or phone call - whichever you indicate you prefer.
We will schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation at a time that works best for you to discuss your service needs and answer any questions you have.
We will schedule your first appointment. I will email you a link via Simple Practice with intake forms to complete on your own time before the first session so we can maximize our time together.
Our first session will be an opportunity for me to learn about you or your child, what brings you to therapy, and what you want from our time together. If you are seeking therapy for your child, I recommend you join them for a portion of the first session as we get to know each other and I gather more information about them.
After our initial session we can discuss if the fit felt right to you and/or your child and determine if you’d like to proceed with therapy together on a regular basis. If you do not feel like we’re a good match, no worries! I can refer you to another therapist. It is important the therapeutic relationship feels right, and my ultimate goal is for you and your child to find a space that resonates with you.
